Orders

Due to the nature of production, goods ordered in a specific colour, flavour and appearance may or may not be the exact equivalent of any pictures or samples provided in advance. Colour matching is made as precise as possible but will not be exact. Colouring can vary between batches from our usual menu. Mummy Macaron reserves the right to change the colouring of the macaron shells. All specifications are approximate only and as the product is handmade, subject to some variation and deviation. Packaging may vary to that shown in photos depending on stock availability. 
Our macarons are best kept cool in the fridge for up 7 days. Macarons are best consumed at room temperature (remove from the fridge 30 minutes before enjoying).
If we are not able to send you one or more of the flavours you have picked for your order, we reserve the right to replace it with a close alternative if your choice is not available.
If you wish to cancel your order, you must email with a minimum 24 hours notice before shipping or collection date. Bespoke orders require a 50% deposit to secure the order with the remaining 50% due 3 days prior to collection or dispatch.
In the event that there is a pricing error on the website we will not be bound to honour any orders made at that price.

Allergens

While extra care is always taken to reduce the risk of cross contamination of allergens, this cannot be guaranteed. The Mummy Macaron kitchen handles all allergens. It is the customers responsibility to inform Mummy Macaron of any allergies prior to placing an order. Allergens present in our usual macaron menu include Nuts (almonds & pistachios), Milk, Eggs & Soya. Cake orders also contain Wheat. Full lists of ingredients is available on request. Products will have allergen stickers on the packaging specific to that batch. Please note some products, including macarons, also contain E numbers for colouring. Some of the colourings (E102, E110, E104, E122, E124 & E129) may have an adverse effect on children causing hyperactivity.


Cancellations and modifications

If you wish to cancel or modify your order you must do so giving a minimum 48 hours notice prior to expected dispatch or collection.
For order cancellation or modification requests, please contact us immediately. We will do our best to accommodate your needs, however, such requests may not be possible due to the order processing schedule. We aim to respond before close of business that day, or within 24 hours at the latest excluding weekends. 

 

Returns & Refunds

Due to the fresh nature of our products, we do not currently accept returns. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase please contact us. 


Delivery and order processing

Mummy Macaron ships orders throughout the UK using Royal Mail as our third-party shipping provider. We use their 24 hour Tracked delivery service. See Royal Mail for their full terms and conditions. Please note that this is not a guaranteed service. Royal Mail specify that the 24-hour tracked service is an 'aimed for' service where the majority of parcels reach their destination within 24 hours. No complaints can be made until 5 days have passed without delivery.
Delivery dates are approximate and no liability whatsoever is accepted in respect of late deliveries that are shipped on time.
Royal Mail shipping that is ‘In time for’ a seasonal event may arrive one or two days earlier than the event if the date falls on a public bank holiday.
We cannot take responsibility if the customer is not at home to accept the delivery. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the recipient is available to sign for their parcel. If they are not the parcel will be returned to the depot and a non-delivery card will be left with further instructions.
You must contact us within fourteen (14) days of the expected delivery date to notify us of any late or missing shipments. 

We cannot take responsibility for any damage caused by our couriers mishandling of the parcel and will not offer a refund or replacement.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you order from us with sufficient lead-time to prevent any loss or disappointment resulting from non-shipment or late delivery that is beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify or change these terms. Therefore, you should review this page periodically. Your continued use of the website or our service and products constitutes your acceptance of the terms.
